computer speakers

Is there any computer speakers which is good for playing music and gaming. My budget is under 100 USD. Also, I would prefer it to just come in a pair and not have a subwoofer but still has woofers built inside.

You can usually find Mackie speakers around that. CR3 or CR5.

As a general rule computer speakers tend to suck, if I were you and on a tight budget I would buy a set of old passive bookshelf speakers and a single board class D power amp. You would be surprised how good those tiny amps sound, I mean, they're not audiophile grade or anything but it's damn better than most computer speakers.

 

I've picked up a couple of those Logitech 5.1 systems over the years and honestly they sound decent, I use them for TV speakers anywhere that's not my computer/music room.

Either this or Edifiers. I'd probably take the Edifiers as they are a 4 inch over the 3 inch Mackie.   I don't think you can find the CR5 for $100.

 

The Edifiers also have a tone control which is useful if you are using them on a desk and up against a wall.

You can if you look, and get a little lucky. I paid $80 for mine, open box.
