WoW: Shadowlands delayed

I just heard that they are going to release SL. This is so good for PC builders since it allows people to start the expansion with a new PC.

I was going to build a new PC but wanted to wait for the AMD announcement on the 28th which is after the release date but now I'll be able to wait and still start the expansion with the new PC.

 

Is anyone else happy about the delay? Most people seem to be happy they are taking time to fix the issues and bugs.

That's assuming you get a card in the first place. Also, new graphics card  just by itself doesn't equal new PC.

Confession I never play WOW but I always watch the cinematic trailers for the expansions because they look dope and I like the lore.

It was good back in the day but these days it's just recycled garbage over and over again.

Blizzard used to be one of the most innovative game companies in the world and everything they touched turned to gold. They would make games of genres they had never done before and still manage to make games that were considered best in class but these days they only release junk. Things like Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm and whatever else is just catered to kids as they are desperately trying to release the next Fortnite. They even wanted to release Diablo on smartphone just to get kids to give them money and I am confident we're going to see more mobile releases.

One of their founders left them recently and made a statement clearly targeted at them saying that in his new company they are focusing on making games fun for players. I think behind the scenes Blizzard has become incredibly fucked up and they are no longer the company that gave us childhood memories on Warcraft and Starcraft and Diablo.

This isn't the first time this happened. A lot of other employees have left over the time including the people who made the original Diablo. When this happened Blizzard actually ridiculed them and made fun of them on Twitter.

 

And now Blizzard is getting a ton of shit from the community for contracting a sexist/racist woman for writing the new books. They have been actively deleting every single thread regarding this on the forums without making any comment.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the company went out of business out of the blue one day. The main thing keeping it alive are fanboys who keep playing while spamming the forums that they are bored and have nothing to do.
