Riser Cables Next to Power Supply/Cables

I noticed in Linus' small form factor build video from yesterday that he purposefully routed the AC power cable away from the GPU riser cable. I'm assuming that that would have something to do with electrical noise/interference messing with the data going through the riser. My build is set up such that atm my riser cable is actually touching the PSU. Does this do anything to harm my system? Furthermore, when I upgrade to a 3080 with 3x 8 pin power cables, the only logical (and visually pleasing) way to run those cables will be alongside the riser. Will that cause an issue? Thanks.
