New PSU for "high end" build

HI! I currently have the Seasonic Focus GX750. Due to the new launch of RTX 3090 and the need for 3x8 pin i have chosen to upgrade my PSU. Some say 750 W is enough, some say 850W is preferred.

See this post i made on a thread in this forum, and the answers it got.

I have:

mobo: Gigabyte x570 Aourus elite

CPU: 3900X, stock. Might go with 4900x once that launches. NHD-15 cooler, 2 fans

RAM: Trident Z neo 3600mhz 32gb (16x2)

GPU: Asus Rog Strix 3090 factory OC, 3x8pin 450w draw limit (currently have 2080ti)

Peripherals1: 5x 140mm fans, all the same(came with case),

Peripherals2: Razer huntsman keyboard, Razer viper ultimate mouse, Corsair and sennheiser headsets, wireless but they charge from usb slot every day

Peripherals3: Deepcool GH-01 A-rgb. GPU holder with RGB powered by motherboard.

Peripherals4: Odyssey G9 screen, and Asus PG27VQ Screen. I don't know if they draw any power for their usb hubs so i included them.

So that is my build. I currently have the Seasonic GX750w, and i am looking to upgrade.

Money isn't an issue (to some extent), i would like something that i can say is "one of the best" or "the best". And also it should be Future-proof with the wattage. I highly doubt i will ever overclock stuff myself, however i will be "chasing the tech" and getting new products in the next few years. I don't know anything about multi-rail, single rail etc.

What do you guys think? Appreciate the help!

Anything from the PSU Tier List of a Tier B or higher is what I would go with. I know others may say otherwise, I would go with at least  a 1000W PSU just to have headroom. You can always have extra wiggle room with a bigger PSU than not having enough.

CPU Cooler Tier List  || Motherboard VRMs Tier List || Motherboard Beep & POST Codes || Graphics Card Tier List || PSU Tier List

Main System Specifications:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X ||  CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Air Cooler ||  RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB(4x8GB) DDR4-3600 CL18  ||  Mobo: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero X570  ||  SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2-2280 Boot Drive/Some Games)  ||  HDD: 2X Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB(Game Drive)  ||  GPU: ASUS TUF Gaming RX 6900XT  ||  PSU: EVGA P2 1600W  ||  Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow  ||  Mouse: Logitech G502 Hero SE RGB  ||  Keyboard: Logitech G513 Carbon RGB with GX Blue Clicky Switches  ||  Mouse Pad: MAINGEAR ASSIST XL ||  Monitor: ASUS TUF Gaming VG34VQL1B 34"

ampere's transient loads seem to be the highest recorded of any gpu generation, though this is still being developed and reported upon. some psus are reportedly tripping due to this, including some seasonic units such as their focus and prime lineups. luke just compiled a big post of all the current issues with ampere over in the gpu section. until we figure out whats up with ampere and psus, id stick with whatever works and make a decision when we have concrete information

The RTX 3090 isn't that much more power hungry than the RTX 3080. A 750W will be fine.

Also if you are just gaming then I wouldn't waste money on the 3090. Only performs about 10% better than the 3080 for twice the price. Of course if doing other things like editing then the extra Vram will be handy.
