Used msi aero gtx 1070 oc

BenasBr

Is it a good deal for 170 euros upgrading from a 1050 ti? Or maybe I should wait for 3000 series to fully come out and look for better deals? I would pair it with a ryzen 5 1600 and a 550w psu

The Big navi comes out in a month also. R5 1600 is a limiting factor though. I'd upgrade the CPU to Ryzen either now or when Ryzen 5000-s come out.

I edit my posts more often than not

I think it’s a good deal.

I sold my old 1070 Ti for $300 not long ago.

170 euro is about an average price for the 1070 right now (maybe 10-15 below the proper average) but if I was you I would go on ebay and look for auctions, whenever I wanted an older used card there were always better deals to be had when bidding (make sure you look up any other fees/import charges that might get added on). At an auction you might get a better version of the 1070 like the evga sc or smaller double fan asus ones. The blower style is never a good option

eBay is not an option where I live and we don't have any auctioning sites

That's tough. I guess if you don't have ebay then the GPU prices must be quite different than european countries that have access to it. You'll just have to look around and see all the options. If you found a better model of the 1070 for 10-20 euro then I'd go for it, if this is by far the cheapest one then go for it, it will be a decent match with your cpu. Prices might go down when all the 3000 series come out but I doubt it will be by much or at all.
