You're probably better off with an aircooler for performance if its only a 120 mm radiator, you mentioned the 280  before, what happened?

Yes but you should just get a cheaper air cooler it will be better. 120mm aio's should not be used for cooling if any other options are available that can be better.

@pcbuildinnoobie the LFII 280's radiator is thicker than your average Asetek-based radiator found in Corsair, NZXT and other AIOs. If you still have it and you haven't purchased a Noctua D15, try mounting it in the front of the case as an intake. I did the same, because I could fit mine on top (fans were blocked by the RAM).
