Hi guys,

I have installed Solidworks 2020, its a quite expensive software but when I am doing CAD (Computer Aided Design) Solidworks only uses one core to the fullest and the other are empty. In my case I have core i7 3770 4-cores 3.67 Ghz Turbo,,

Solidworks only uses 1 core and other are empty but when I am rendering it uses all the available core for Rendering but not for CAD. 

 

Is there some way to make programs use every resource available in the system?

Is it possible to set the affinity in Task Manager?  Would that help?

The developers are not emphasizing on this part of the software anymore, they say that this portion is complete

Get a new software package or a new CPU if you want better performance.
