Zotac 3080 dilemma

Hi Guys, so on the crazy day of the 3080 launch I managed to see that the Zotac was the only one available in the stock (rest was in pre-orders) so I decided to go for it!

The email said it will be here Monday gone by. Was told today that the system put me actually in pre-order and they don't know when the next round is coming but I am in a queue.

As this isn't the card I wanted and after hearing about the zotac 20000 pre orders news and it being more poor compared to FE and the other customs being better than FE should... I switch card (gigabit or TUF) and wait longer?

Have talked to the company and the so ad it is possible to change but will be put at the back of the queue.

Any suggestions what I should do? zotac have said there gonna respond to it slow performance.

Also I paid 750 euros for the card.

Cancel the order, get your money back, and then buy the card you WANT. Waiting a little bit for an item you will have for years... makes sense.

I disagree with this being a good reason because this statement only compares PCB designs. Trinity card has worse PCB but better cooler than FE at the same price, while others that are being reviewed so far (MSI Gaming X Trio and Asus TUF OC) cost more.

The Trinity simply doesnt boost as high in clock speed compared to FE. Just overclock it a bit and that difference will be all gone. My guess on the cause is that the Trinity's less efficient VRM makes it hit the same 320w card power limit at lower GPU power draw. In other words the difference is something you can compensate.
