AMD vs Nvidia color?

My gtx 1060 died today, so I threw in an rx 560 I had lying around. After I installed the driver, I noticed something immediately. My blacks were much deeper! I didn't change any of my monitor's settings, so was I doing something wrong with my nvidia card? Can anyone explain this?

I think there are some color settings that can change color. You might have had limited range on that doesn't let the display show the darkest blacks and brightest whites.
