Air cooling goes BOOM BOOM!

guys need help here, i overclocked my sempron 145 into an athlon x2, its performing way too better, it seems to be outputting too much heat, i am not satisfyed by my 11 year old stock cooler. can you guys suggest some budget air coolers? i cant find one for its am3 socket, pls sort out an budget, highly efficient cooler? thank you

I mean..... spending any amount of money trying to cool that is just "a waste of money" unless you can get it for practically free.

 

What temps is it hitting, can you just turn the fan speed up? Its hard to say you should spend ~25 bucks on a budget cooler for a CPU thats worth.... 25 bucks at best. But, the best PC is the PC you have, and if that is what you have, I am not sure what to tell you. I would try and find an old used system with a better heatsink you can rob from, or find someone selling an old cheap heatsink somewhere locally. Again, can you not turn the fan up higher in BIOS? Or lower your overclock a bit..?
