now yes if i am in direct contact with the ice then ofc i get cold because the ice is touching me, and yes if i'm not touching but very close to it i might still feel the cold but that's because of the cold coming from the middle trying to find it's way down and stumbeling over itself knocking it slightly up.

Thank you for that, but there are other physics issues at play.  You're simplifying too much.

the laptop can do 180 degree tilts so 90 is nothing.

I would hope that having someone do it for you wouldn't be too expensive, it's not very hard to do yourself
