Good over ear headphones

Hey

 

i am starting online school now and my headphones are pretty good for gaming and stuff but not very good for using for a long time. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good cheap/affordable headphones that are comfortable, good quality and are good for gaming occasionally? My headphones  have been hurting from the headphones I’m using now and I have only wore them 2 hours max. I would like to get wired ones if possible

Oops srry I’m on my phone and auto correct is dumb. I really don’t know what price to spend. What do you think I should spend to get a decent pair?

welllll personally i like my Arctis 5's, good personally for long sessions, stay pretty cool. those are about 100 dollars. however, it would appear that the Arctis 3's are the same headset, sans RGB and some other minor features. (not sure though) those are 69.99

crazy comfortable, decent bass not too muddy and bluetooth (hopefully you have bluetooth on the pc) or a short-ish 3.5mm jack

Anyway, considering it's for gaming, you'll most likely want a mic. I'd also recommend the Arctis 5, but another alternative is the HyperX Cloud Stinger.

I did, and they are wired when using the 3.5mm jack, wireless if you choose to use them on bluetooth or if you want to use noise cancelling you'll have to charge them.

I see. But isn't that just paying for features that are unneeded? e.g. I buy a $100 pair of headphones that can either be wireless or not, but I could have bought another pair for the same price that forgoes the wireless functionality and has a better range of sounds.

I assume since you'll be using them for (online) school, you'll want a pair of closed back? Also, as the meaning of cheap/budget differs from person to person, will need a price range.

Takstar pro 82's or cooler master mh 751's are by far the comfiest headphones I've ever tried within your budget almost no clamp, and very cushy pads.

Ok so I’m now thinking to get the takstar pro 82 or the arctis 1

I would also recommend the MH751/Takstar Pro 82, but I couldn't find them anywhere within budget, usually just under $90. If you can find cheaper, highly recommend.

if you can find them for cheap get M40X sometimes you can get them really cheap

Open back headphones do not have a sealed cup, allowing ambient sound to leak in. Many consider these headphones to have a more spatially realistic sound. Because they are opened, you are will likely hear noises around you (fighting parents), and will also have significantly more sound leakage, meaning people around you will be able to hear what you're listening too, so it's not recommended using open backed while around others. Closed back are probably what you would be using now, and simply have the cups sealed.

Yeah that would be preferred. So are there any headphones you recommend? I’m not gaming for long times but I will occasionally. I mostly just use headphones to listen to music or movies and stuff like that. Gaming is occasional

Do you think that the JBL E55BT headphones are good?
