Any changes made to /etc/resolv.conf will require a system restart. This is wrong, see other responses relating to /etc/resolv.conf.

whats the command for that? Or do I just unplug and plug?

Please be specific, what's the issue and how can you be helped?

 

Some people are on mobile and will have difficulty seeing what's ont that screenshot.

resolv.conf usually gets overridden on reboot.

Did you set the DNS for the interface by chance if you set a static IP?

You can do 'cat /etc/network/interfaces' which should show your interface configs if it doesn't use netplan
