Hey guys,

So I can't decide if its worth it or not, and need some people's decisions. I currently have a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 2GB OC, graphics card. My question is, once I get more money would it be worth it to buy another GTX 660 and SLI them, OR save up all my money and just buy 1 GeForce GTX 770?

What do you guys think? :D

tuff, because two 660's would outperform the 770 for less and if tight on money that is a good option, although I will almost always recommend a single card because of compatibility and sli support. Assuming your Mobo and PSU can support daul gpu's I would go with the two 660's

If you want "max" settings you wont get it with a 770, I can't play Metro Last Light at max with a 780, sometimes it will drop to 20 FPS. I would wait for a 870 or just get a 780... $500 is a great price for a card that used to be $700.

What resolution are you playing on?

If you don't play games that blow up when you have a dual GPU setup (e.g Skyrim), then 2x 660 would be a good choice, as they give better performance than a 770. If you want more stability, less power usage and also the ability to play a wider array of games, then a 770 would be a good choice.

Or, you could save up for a 770, sell your 660 and then get a 780.

PC Build

AMD FX 4130@3.8GHz | Sapphire Radeon HD R9 290@947 MHz | 8GB of DDR3 1333MHz RAM | 500GB Seagate HDD | [broken] Cooler Master i600 PSU | Some LG Disk Drive that costed me $20|
