Either get the 8320 at microcenter or get the FX-6300. It works great for me.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

No comparison really, at that price range get a 6300, or if you're near a microcenter and can get a good deal get an 8350

I just checked microcenter.

Chicagoland/central has them for 129 plus tax.

OTD price is listed at 142.01 and they have 10+ in stock.

Westmont also has 10+ listed at 129 but has lower tax.

OTD price is listed at 139.41

I would pay the extra 20 dollars for the 2 extra cores.

It's $129 actually, but still within my budget. Thanks for that!

Yup. I added a post with that info and I checked both stores.

The last time I checked they were still 99 but they must have gone up between then and now. It's still not a bad price at all considering the 6300s usually go for 119(Newegg) or 109(microcenter)

Definitely thinking about an 8320 now that I checked cpuboss.com and it's better in more categories. When I start working in a month and finally start buying parts, I could get a couple more bucks and get an 8350 and a mobo for it.
