B550 Gaming Edge WIFI = B550 Tomahawk >> X570 Gaming Edge WIFI (don't get this board)

Some other good options I would consider at ~€200 are the B550 Aorus Pro and Strix B550-F.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC

What about Asus x570 tuf

It's good, but do you need X570? It's a fairly barebones board in comparison to the B550 boards I mentioned above, and if you're not going to throw in three PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs or do something with those extra 4.0 lanes, it'd kind of be a waste imo.

For me, I highly recommend Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro WiFi. It is a bit expensive, but has quite good features:

- 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 type C (one at the back panel, one header at the motherboard for front panel)

- 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 type A (both at the back of motherboard)

- Intel WiFi AX 200 with 2x2 antenna included (support WiFi 6 up to 2400Mbps)

- Plenty of USB ports (4 USB 2.0 at back panel, 2 USB 2.0 header at motherboard with each support 2 USB 2.0 ports making total of 4 ports, 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 - header with each support 2 USB 3.2 gen 1 ports, 3 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports with one support for Q-Flash for BIOS flashing)

- Good VRM (can support up to 3950X and Overclocked 3900X if cooling is adequate)

You can get Aorus Pro (without WiFi) for a cheaper price if you like.

They're the same in terms of vrm, 10 ISL99360's.

For around that price i'd also look at the b550 strix f, and aorus pro and the steel legend which are decent.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

they all have decent vrm that is more than enough, as for features, depends on what you're looking for, but in terms of the vrm.

strx f has 12 sic639's.

aorus pro has 6 sic654's doubled with ISL6617's iirc.

tomahawk has 10 ISL99360's.

so they're all good when it comes to the vrm, as for features.. depends on what you're looking for.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

As.. i said, in terms of vrm they're all good, in terms of features (like the IO) really depends on what you want.

what are they all priced at i guess?

Okay I will look at the io and see what I want the price in my country is about 170-180 (euros) on these motherboards only the strix f is 190-200.

And btw the difference between b550 and x570 is that the x570 support sli only that right ?

Not all x570 boards support sli.

but the difference between b550 and x570 is that b550 allows the lanes that are wired to the cpu to be gen 4 while the chipset it self is gen 3, x570 is gen 4 across the whole board.

x570 aorus elite I just found it 190 euros

it's a decent board, not a bad one.

as for b550, look for the tomahawk, strix f, steel legend, aorus pro, a pro  and the gaming edge is also decent.

as for x570, the aorus elite is decent, tomahawk and tuf are also decent, you could look at all of these board and their features and decide, but they're all pretty good.
