Can I get system value?

GA-58A-OC Gigabyte mobo with i7 920 in it.

24GB of DDR3 6x4GB sticks.

RM1000 PSU Corsair Gold rated PSU.

Tempered glass panel case with support for 280mm AIO and 6x fans included already (all blue LED).

H115i AIO from Corsair.

240GB SSD

2x 500GB HDDs 7200RPM.

 

What do you guys think? (Ignore the Thermaltake cooler)

Wouldn't pay much for an old build with such weird ram config neither without a GPU, maybe $80 or $100 if you are lucky

Weird? Dual triple channel memory. X58 mobos go for £150 on E-Bay what are you talking about?

which one? I see a phanteks cooler in the pic and a corsair cooler in the specs

 

the motherboard is the most valuable thing in here, partner X58 boards are pretty expensive. total value based on ebay pricing is close to about $200, on the low end. not sure about used water cooler and PSU pricing though.

Prices for X58 systems vary greatly. You might be able to sell it for C$500.

Oh saw a cheap one recently local but that is the most valuable thing you could get more luck selling just that or selling everything for maybe $500 or $450

Honestly I'd not pay for postage for old parts even if they were free...too many old parts as is collecting dust in my closet.

Thanks. I meant ignore Phanteks cooler. It still has 24GB of RAM. 1000W Corsair PSU is no slouch either. SSD and HDD as standard. Would be a good box to stick new mobo and CPU into etc.

Like I said the mobo is the goodest part, so maybe just swap in a 6 core if you really wanted to.

Nice, paid £80 for it all. AIO will be in there instead of that air cooler too.

I would pay 140 for it, the area I live in is a bit rough for local used stuff though, value may vary.

I am. I only said how much it took to build it.

 

I got barely used H115i AIO from Corsair for it, it's been barely used.

That Phanteks cooler is pretty good still, so I'll keep it (AIO may break down in the future and this air cooler will always work)

Got the X58 board, CPU and the cooler for £45.

Got the case for £30 with the fans etc.

Lastly I got the PSU for £5, it's tested and fully working though.

 

if I count it properly, I can most likely get at least £50 for AIO as new one is about £100+

X58 board lets say £80 and with 24GB of RAM probably £140.

CPU doesn't cost much so about £5.

PSU is still 1000W gold rated PSU from Corsair, it can run 3090 if someone wanted to, so I will say about £50 for that as well.

Got an SSD 240GB in there with 2x 500GB HDDs so that's probably together around £25.

Case was £30, someone sold it to me as necessity but they originally paid £78 for it all, so it's worth at least £40.

 

I think I can get around £300 for it all. 

Regardless, the case looks decent and if someone wants to stick just the motherboard, CPU, RAM and GPU then this is a perfect little box for it.

X58 board on UK's E-Bay go for £99 cheapest or so.

6 core 12 thread Xeon goes for £30, so there is a small upgrade path. 

RX 580 / 1060 would be perfect for this PC.

Just managed to sell it for £240 for anyone interested and the H115i AIO for £50 so total £290 for £115 so £175 profit.
