I got a Question

Butterbrezn

Hello,

I want to build my PC but I need it in the next two weeks so my question is is it worth it for me waiting till RTX 3080 is really coming or is it unlikely getting one at the start. Thanks for your time

My Budget is around 1700€ and I already have a config

I would wait for the 30 series cards to be released, or at least independent reviews to see how they perform.

What CPU are you using in your build? If it's an Intel CPU with integrated graphics then you could use that temporarily while waiting for the 30 series cards. If your planned CPU doesn't have integrated graphics then if you have an older graphics card you can use that temporarily.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

Also, I would recommend getting an X570 board for that same price as it will provide better future proofing for your Ryzen CPU and also Graphics Card because of it's PCI-E 4.0 support.

Do you even know what you're talking about?

The B550 boards HAVE PCIe 4.0 support on the GPU slot.

you do know b550 allows the lanes that are wired to the cpu to be gen 4 right?

As a Canadian who also never sees hardware on release date, I know this well. (Heck, we still don't have the R3 1200 AF available to consumers.)

Nobody can predict availability accurately.
