Upgrading from the 1050 Ti

Wondering if waiting for the 3070 is worth it or should I upgrade now? I'm upgrading from a laptop to a PC I build. I have all of the other parts ready, and I'm wondering if waiting for the 3070 to come out and buy that or wait for price drops of the 20 series is worth it or should I buy now??

Well the 3070 comes out in October and the price drops for the 20 series because of the 30 series releases haven't happened yet.

Honestly, the 3070 looks like such a monster card from the press release at 499 that even with price drops nothing from the 20xx series is going to match it. Literally, nothing. It is supposedly faster then the 2080 ti at 499. Waiting until october seems pretty sensible

The 3000 series has been revealed bro it comes on the 17 september (or 19th)

Yeah, the 3080 is september the 3070 is a month later. Pretty standard nvidia stuff to stagger the release.

If the performance gain of Ampere is anything like seen so far they are absolute beasts. I say get your moneys worth and wait a month.
