hello ive been thinking about building my first custom loop with adding new parts and using the parts i already have in my setup

currently i have the alphacool eisbaer 420mm cpu cooling with the quick connector and i am not sure if i add another pump will it ruin the flow or if i add too much tubing

currently im looking to add eisball with pump connect it to my cpu cooler and add a block on my gpu will the pumps work together do i need something specific before i do it and are there any special requirements i need to notice first?

currently only looking to use alphacool products as they are the most accessible for me

i would tray with out an extra pump then if need to buy one.

Please take care not to mix up the IN and OUT ports. On the “Eisbaer”, the “outlet” is marked in “red” and the “inlet” in “blue”. On the components to be connected, it is the opposite. The coupling with the “blue” marking denotes the “outlet” and the coupling with the “red” marking is the “inlet”. This is important as in many coolers the flow direction is crucial for optimal cooling performance.

Attention: The manufacturer Mayhems advises that Mayhems fluids, especially the Aurora line of products, have been manufactured and distributed solely for show and modding purposes. These should not be utilized in the system for more than 14 days.

We would also like to advise that Mayhems fluids can damage water cooling products, and using Mayhems fluids can thereby void the warranties offered by the following manufacturers: Koolance, Phobya, Alphacool, Aqua Computer, Watercool.

Damages such as: clogging, corrosion of aluminium radiators, deterioration of glued containers, etc., are a consequence of the use of Mayhems, but will not be reimbursed by Mayhems. Use is therefore at one’s own risk.

Why not try and run it without spending the money buying another pump? Buy the GPU block and the tubing necessary, put it all together and see what the flow rate is, if it's good then rock on, if its weak then go spend the money for another pump. No sense in buying parts that might not be necessary.

How do i check the flow rate to compare?

You can do it the official way with a digital gauge or there are a few analog methods that work too. I have a bitspower flowmeter in my loop it is a little spinning fan thing that speeds up or down as the flow goes faster or slower. You can also use a couple of buckets one full of water as a source and an empty as a collection and run the loop and see how fast the water comes out the end. If it has a little force you're good, if its kinda trickling out then you obv need more power. I always use hardline tubing so the bucket method isn't easy for me and the flowmeter looks cool in the loop and it was pretty cheep. but since yours has soft tubing already i'm assuming you're going to keep with the soft tube so you can maneuver that all over the place easily you can see in my pic the circled part is my little spinner.
