Fast charging does wear out the battery quicker than your regular 5v 1a charging.

Not to the extent that you'd notice any difference even after 50 charges, let alone from just one charge like OP thinks. Besides, literally any charging at all degrades the battery -- even just a 50mA charge-current.

Oh yeah I meant as in over time. You'll notice the difference between a normal charger and a fast charger after a years of use.
