Hello Im trying to get into an outdated camera system. That system has a 10.37.111.15 address that responds to pings. I know I got in it a few months ago but even internet explorer wont let me in (TLS certificate). Anyone know how I can gain access to it?

Definitely not without any info...

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Camera name etc. Maybe how the cam is connected (like some network info). etc.
Expect us to know nothing about it. 😉

Im trying to log into the NVR that runs a dozen or so cameras. i couldnt tell you a model name off the top of my head and I am off site right now. The NVR is set to a static of 10.37.111.15 with a /24 subnet and 10.37.111.5 as the default gateway. Not sure if that is any more useful

EDIT:

IE is historically the only browser that has had access to it. I have already tried other browsers

Maybe it relies on a feature that exists on Internet Explorer but not on modern browsers?

it probably does the issue is it wont work in ie anymore either.

The good news is they are about to upgrade to a Synology based camera system, so just trying to get them by with what they have now

Thanks for the extra info, the more the better.

Altho ive tried to reconnect the plugs on one of those camera's where they cut the cord. Only thing i could find where some chinese results i cant read.
So i really hope you have better luck, my biggest problem was its hard to google without names etc. ;)

Best of luck!

Maybe some random ideas: can you telnet into it? Or maybe use a virtual machine with older OS and the browser that works.

It's possible that the camera failed.

Probably. Ive just got no clue what they would do

Can you use their PC to see what they do?
Or let them use yours that you connect to to see how?

Or maybe different browser/OS on the other computer...
