Hi guys, I'm about to build a new computer and I just found that issue of compatibility among parts. Where I live(Peru), there isn't a variety of parts especially memory and is quite expensive too.

I found this Corsair kit ( CMK32GX4M2B3200C16), and I would appreciate if any of you have it in Ryzen (7 3700X) setup and tell me if it works fine or what it is neccesary to tweak in order to make it do so.

Pretty much all ram works with all cpus, as long as it fits into a ddr4 slot

Yes it will work fine. 3200mhz is great. Don't forget to turn on XMP or whatever it is called in the bios otherwise it will be running at like 2133mhz. I did that mistake once. Never doing it again.

Check the QVL of the motherboard you're getting to know for sure the RAM will work.

I've had some bad luck in the past using Corsair memory on AMD systems.

P.S. the only tweaking that will be necessary is turning on XMP/DOCP.

Don't bother with the QVL list, for the most part it should work, worst case scenario you'll have to do some tinkering but that's it.

I couldn't find exactly the same kit, but one that differed in the spd latency and spd latency, being:

-the one I can find here: spd latency 15-15-15-36 and speed: 2133mhz and

-the one on the QVL list: latency 18-18-18-43 and speed 2666mhz.

So, what does that mean? Just to turn on XMP?

The QVL is a list of components they specifically tested, so perhaps this kit will just work with no issues; or maybe not.

What motherboard will you be using?

I don't have this specific ram kit but I am running some Corsair RGB pro cl16 with a Ryzen 3700x and it runs stable, just set the docp in bios and you should be fine, and make sure you manually set dram voltage,in my experience with Ryzen to leave dram voltage on auto I get very unstable results

Ryzen 5800X3D(Because who doesn't like a phat stack of cache?) GPU - 7700Xt

                                                           X470 Strix f gaming, 32GB Corsair vengeance, WD Blue 500GB NVME-WD Blue2TB HDD, 700watts EVGA Br

~Extra L3 cache is exciting, every time you load up a new game or program you never know what your going to get, will it perform like a 5700x or are we beating the 14900k today? 😅~
