Other users on the PC taking up RAM?

Try looking at resource monitor instead of task manager. I think Task Manager hides system processes and the OS itself.

Just Chrome taking lots of RAM as usual, nothing out of the ordinary there. Nothing to do with a download either.

My paged pool size was 5.7 GB when the download was at 5.7 GB... now that the download is at 5.8 GB, paged pool size has also changed to 5.8 GB... Are you sure it's not the cause?

It shouldn't be, since downloads get saved to disk instead of staying in RAM (plus, when your download was at 1gb, I highly doubt your paged pool was at 1gb.

Looks just like a coincidence to me.

Oh... I guess reboot will surely help... I haven't turned off my PC for 3 days now... Is there anything else I can do?

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it starts affecting performance. Windows is pretty good at freeing up space if needed, but if it doesn't need more RAM there's no harm in leaving random garbage in there.

It's not affecting performance significantly... Just a bit... It's good to know that there's no big damage or harm that can come from it... Thanks ^_^
