what is the best gpu for my fx 8350 Im reusing old hardware and want to get the best performance out of my processor

When it comes to good value low end graphics cards, you can't really beat the RX 570/470. It's pretty reasonable to pair with an FX 8350. If you want to save some money, try to get a used GTX 960 close to the $55 mark, but you won't really get many deals like that.

Pick up an RX 580 4GB or 8GB, if you're going for budget build and want something that won't bottleneck your 8350. You can grab a 580 8GB used or even new if they are still in stock for around $150 or less.

Yes, sadly that's kind of where your CPU will top out (in most titles).

 

You'd probably gain by trying to OC your CPU, if you haven't already.

Some games benefit from GPU upgrades, some don't

RX580 will be the max gpu to pair with the fx cpu. 

 

Now if you plkay at 4k you can put a better gpu but at 1440p and 1080p there is no point.
