I'm planning on building my first gaming pc and according to pc part picker, the parts I've chosen are all compatible.

I've chosen:

MSI MPG Z390M GAMING EDGE AC Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Noctua NH-D15 CHROMAX.BLACK 82.52 CFM CPU Cooler

Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

MSI GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB GAMING Z Video Card

Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case

Corsair AX 850 W 80+ Titanium Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

But looking at the Noctua NH-D15 and the Corsair ram, I'm not sure if they are going to fit because the ram might be too big. Please can someone give me some advice on this as I'm not sure if pc part picker have considered the size of the ram.

What cpu, and what budget? can you share the pc part picker link?

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

it may not fit, if it did not, you can just lift the fans a bit for extra clearance.

and  if you don't already have this board, don't get it, on a platform that is bad and wont get updated, unless you already have a coffee lake cpu, if you don't, go with either zen 2 or comet lake or wait for zen 3.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

What's your budget and location?

There's literally 0 reason to build a Z390 system in 2020, and you're way overspending on your PSU.

Agreed.

If you go intel, z490 as it’s all around better being newer, and 10 series CPU’s are notably better as they clock higher and offer more cores for less money.

Also, PSU is definitely an overspend.

I think that's the link above.

I was hoping to not spend as much as the list is quoting and I was using the motherboard because it's supposed to be the best board for a micro ATX build. The build is for gaming and to mess around with blender and unreal engine. Oh and I'm in the uk. I have no idea how to build a pc which is why it's so unbalanced

I would recommend getting an AMD cpu these days you get a better bang for your buck, I know intel seems attractive especially when its your first build but go look around on benchmarking websites I doubt you'll find an intel cpu thats a better value than and AMD chip. Also are you planning on doing heavy video editing or something? 32gb of RAM is way overkill for any game even when streaming it and that much ram is extremely expensive, all that RAM money could be used to get a more powerful graphics card. That power supply is also way overkill for your build and getting the proper power supply could save you money to put into that graphics card. Use a power supply calculator to determine the watts you need.

If gaming is your primary concern you can get a ryzen 5 2600 on amazon for only $139, get 16gb of RAM instead of 32gb, get cheap 1tb NVMe drive, and put the rest of your money into the graphics card.

I'm not sure what your budget is but im just assuming its a budget build considering you picked out a 2060 so thats why I picked a budget processor.

As far as the clearance issue that you were asking about I am not sure on that, I just noticed your build list looked a little strange so I started talking about that.

Cheers

It wasn't so much video editing that I chose the i7 but 3d work in blender and I just saw the power supply may have been more efficient on the electric bill so I thought it might of been the better choice. And I thought the ram might of sped rendering up as well. It's supposed to be as budget as possible and ideally as small of a build as possible.

I'll make a list with wifi and less over kill psu in a hour. I have to do some yard work at my house.

Here is a cheaper option. The RX 5700XT is good for 1080p and 1440p.

You can pick up a cheap W10 key from most places that sell game keys. I usually use cjs cd keys as they have always been reliable for me.

You dont need drivers. Most will have a basic MS version that comes with windows. and then you can download off the internet.
