Floatplane?

I was just watching the LMG clips for the LTT podcast and Was listening to the part about all the restrictions floatplane has to follow on IOS and I was wondering if they could potentially create an app as a browser meant to better load websites for phones (similar to something like Cake Browser) and use it to access their app as a standalone website meant for that browser. I don't know how much extra work that would be and if it is possible as I don't really have a background in coding, but I thought I would just put it out there. This is my first time posting here so I'm not sure if this is the right subforum.

Having an app could be better when even more creators join and more features are added, something like (hypothetically) being able to keep the video/audio playing while the screen is off.

I mean a Web browser that uses the links for the website to access it so it can be listed as a web browser but it essentially just functions as the app so they can add all the features and functions of the app that they have on the Play Store side of things and can be expanded in the future as well.
