Hi! I just finished my PC upgrade, but it isn't booting. The only thing it's doing is turning on the LED that indicates there's an error with the cpu. I've already tried tightening all the power connectors, but they are fine. I also tried changing the RAM slots used, and also removing one of them because I saw it fixed the issues for some.

Also, before buying the motherboard, I asked the retailer if the BIOS was updated to run 3rd gen Ryzen, and they said it was. Is there any way to check this?

Here are all the parts:

  • Gigabyte B450 Aorus M
  • Ryzen 3600
  • 2x8GB GSkill Trident Z (3200MHz)
  • Asus GTX 1050 *
  • Fuente EVGA 500W 80+ *
  • SSD Kingston 480GB SATA
  • Sentey J20 Case

*I was already using them in my previous build, so they are working

If you know what the problem may be, or anything I can try, it will be appreciated

Did you buy the motherboard new, with its box and/or did they manually update the BIOS?

If you have the box and they didn't update the BIOS, see if this picture is on the front of the box:
