Thanks I had a look for the straight power is it this unit and why would multi rails be better

Yeah, that's the Straight Power 11.

With multi-rail you're basically getting an added level of protection, which considering you plan on running two Vega 56es that have some really nasty transients and high current draws especially when overclocked, is not something you exactly want to miss out on.

@jonnyGURU explains it better than I ever could in this video:

As the title says which is the better psu I'll be testing GPUs and need a reliable psu that can handle duel GPUs and heavy overclocks the most I'll be running is 2 Vega 56 just for tests and rendering .

RMx, though I'd instead look for a multi-rail unit at that wattage, like a be quiet! Straight Power 11, Dark Power Pro 11 (generally on the overpriced side), Corsair RMi or HXi.

Desktop: Intel Core i9-9900K | ASUS Strix Z390-F | G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB 3200MHz CL14 | EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra | Corsair RM650x | Fractal Design Define R6

Laptop: 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 13"  --  i5-8259U | 8GB LPDDR3 | 512GB NVMe

Peripherals: Leopold FC660C w/ Topre Silent 45g | Logitech MX Master 3 & Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed | HIFIMAN HE400se & iFi ZEN DAC | Audio-Technica AT2020USB+

Display: Gigabyte G34WQC
