SOLVED

Alright, so this is my first build and its stressing me out. Either my motherboard or processor are faulty, all the rgb on my b450m steel legend is flowing, my case cpu and gpu fans are spinning but for some reason it just wont boot.. My monitor keeps saying it doesnt get any signal. I know for a fact it works. I've tried everything. Any help is greatly appreciated as i need to know if i have to send anything back

 

 

Specs:

 

Asrock b450m steel legend

 

Corsair vengeance 2x8 3200 mhz 

 

Amd ryzen 3100

 

Samsung 860 qvo 1TB

 

Asrock phantom gaming rx 5600 xt

 

SeaSonic S12II 650w

 

All built in the NZXT H510

 

 

Alright so i found out i had to pull out the cmos and re insert it.

Yeah. And from what i know the 3100 is built on zen 2

clear the cmos, try with one stick at a time. 

re seat everything, re seat the cpu. make sure there are no bent pins on the cpu. and make sure you're plugging the display cable into the gpu and not the cpu, as the 3100 does not have an igpu.

I've tried reseating the ram and that was ineffective. As for the cmos will that change anything?

it could, try clearing and try with one stick, re seat the cpu, check for any bent pins. and as i said,

Will the thermal paste mess with it or is that fine? Thanks for helping me out btw

i men, you can re apply some if you can but as the paste is new, it should be fine, but if you can then change it.

Alright. Ill try the cmos and the cpu. Ill update in a minute

Do you have the video cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc) plugged into the motherboard or the video card?

Aye bruh. Tysm. I took out the battery and am now playing siege on my.  New pc.
