hey peeps. currently i have a open loop just for my cpu, i was running, 2 980's and a cpu block, but since upgraded to a 1080ti, was thinking of swapping out the open loop for a closed one,

im looking at the EISBAER AURORA 360, as with the new case ill be getting, with the current loop i have it wont look right, im running a 6700k oc to 4.7

what do you guys think i should do, ill be getting my parts from oc . net "finance" hence i cant get the gpu block,
would the EISBAER AURORA 360 be good enough for the overclocked 6700k?

i cant find a block for the gpu, Gigiabite aorus  so was thinking about also getting a closed loop with the gpu mount at some point,

Thanks in advance,

I dont understand why you want to go from a custom loop to an AIO. Cab you not just adapt it to make it look right in the new case?

If that’s the only option, seems like the way to go.
Im sure a 360 is more than enough for that chip, don’t see why it wouldn’t be.
Tim age would be a factor but won’t be the coolers fault.

I tend to buy cards that have blocks so I don’t have this issue. Even easier when getting old stuff. I did the same getting my 1080ti recently.

I did the same after the 20 series released, bought a used 1080ti with a waterblock included, swapped out my 780classifed+Block for the 1080ti+block ..sorted.

Still waiting on the next gen stuff to release, need HDMI 2.1 for when i buy the LG 48" OLED to replace my Plasma. Cant wait ! :D though i suspect the GPU cost is going to sting something fierce since Nvidia fked over the consumer with a price tier increase. 2 decades of ~£600 for the flagship gaming card, and now we're being told we have to pay double that. Fking disgusting.

OP, if ur loop is still running fine, stick with it.

Thats the problem lol, i just cant get a new block for it, being a custom pcb..... im getting the lian li case so airflow wont be a problem....

just looking at the ROG STRIX LC WHITE EDITION, might go "better" with the build

and i got my 1080ti  on sale, with another %20 i paid £520 New from oc so i could not say no really lol, Below is my current system in a Evga Dg 86, im im just thinking that this is a bit overkill for just a cpu,, and looks "messy"

Edit, i suppose there might be room in the back part to put pump/res

Edit2 :

i just found this..
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/lian-li-o11d-distro-plate-g1-for-high-performance-liquid-cooling-designed-by-ekwb-wc-001-ll.html#
