Any one hyped about the RTX 3000 series? And is it worth it to wait till September to get access to the gpu?

If you're thinking about upgrading then yes it's definitely worth holding off, the announcement should be no more than a month away

And, no. I don’t upgrade every time something new comes out.
I’m planning to buy a 1440p 144Hz or higher monitor and don’t want even 1 less FPS.

well the 3900x perforates better while streaming games vs the i9 whatever number it is. the highest consumer grade one. so they are only better based on what you are doing. 

AMD is for the people who are smart and don't just go the name. at least in a build for this gen.

If it's an X570 motherboard, it may be a placeholder CPU while waiting for the 4000 series, since the 4000 series is supposed to beat Intel in single threaded as well as the multithreaded that the 3000 series introduced. Still could be a "no compromises" build if the plan is for it not to have compromises when the next gen comes out.

So he'll spend over  $1k for a 3080Ti to get the best but goes with AMD to lose fps vs Intel.   /logic

i understand amd with anything but the 2080 ti/3080 ti for pure gaming, spending 1k+ for a gpu to have a cpu bottleneck is triggering, To not give a damn about intel for gaming is just.... but hey if zen 3 finally catches up we all win.

actually, it the prices will be good ill maybe sell my 2080 and look for a 3070/3080
