Depends. i build pc's out of used parts.

3200g/3400g for extra budget gaming builds. For budget/lower mid end pc's 3100/3300x. Mid range 3600.

Intel doesnt really have good cpus with decent APU's in them. Intel's budget cpus are much worse than amd has to offer (ryzen 3 3100/3300x).

Intel has decent mid range gamign cpus like i5 10400 or 10600k but since the release of ryzen XT cpus the ryzen 5 3600 is very cheap used. Once i got ryzen 5 3600 with only 70 euros!

Thread locked. Posts such as this often lead to pointless fanboy arguments, whether that was your intention or not.

They each have their pros and cons. Which is best will depend on your budget and use case. If you would like help deciding what hardware to buy for yourself then create a new thread but phrase your question in a better way, asking what people would recommend for your specific needs. Plenty of people happy to provide help choosing parts and help out people new to PC building. But please don't start discussions where the only purpose is to fight over which is best.

  • No trolling or flame-bait.
    • This includes topics such as AMD vs NVIDIA, "company X sucks", and political or religious debates.

Thread cleaned.

To the people who replied, if this is how you treat new members to the forum then I'm very disappointed. Discussion might have been fine if you all weren't being rude and/or backseat moderating - which by the way is against the rules.

  • Do not backseat moderate – if there’s an issue, please use the report function. This includes responses such as "Off topic", "spam", "advertising", "status update material" etc; leave it for the mod team to handle.

And just be nice to each other.
