is the Chromebook duet good?

How is it for note taking? Does the active stylus work well?

How well does it preform daily task, any stutters?

Any good note tasking apps?

How well does it run android apps?

I am looking for a general media tablet for notes, some video watching with a long life cycle, update wise.

It's going for 250$, so thinking of picking one up

Not looking for the Ipad, i know it exists, own the 11 inch pro, thinking of returning it, not sure.

Thanks

I am looking for android apps like Squid for notes, it's more for organization.

Not worried about that, i have a laptop, a good desktop, this is more of a 3rd supplemental device.

Reading OP's requirements:

A Chromebook would be perfect.

I do agree, Linux would be a good option (not necessarily even in the future, GalliumOS dualbooting isn't hard), but ChromeOS is very, very good (albeit at very specific things) and would be perfect for OP.

Do you think the eMMc will bite me down the line?

Hard to say. It might, but for $250 you likely aren't gonna find anythign but eMMC (or a hard drive, yuck) in a new laptop (Chromebooks especially). I think it'll be fine, not any better than any other Chromebook at that price.
