Best 1440p/60 (or more)HZ monitior for cheap?

VestiaryFlea867

I'm looking for a good 1440p monitor for around $200-350USD that has the "regular" specs requested in a monitor (60 or more HZ response, low response time). Are the monitors in this price bracket even worth it? I was thinking of the Acer V277U at is "cheap" and has good specs (I couldn't find any reviews though :(). Any recommendations?

Edit: Forgot to add, this will be paired with either a 2070 or 2070 Super, will be used for gaming and video editing (color isn't a priority since i'm not a professional)

if you are gonna go 60hz, might as well go color, and used. For new and that price range, 1080p/144hz is the way to go. go with the pixio 243 or the aoc 24G2 depending on ur budget.

I personally do not play very many games (FPS's?) that require a high refresh rate, and I care more about how it looks. Does the faster refresh still make games that are not competitive look better (smoother?) ? (not sure if that made sense) Used is an option, but  I would like new better. (the display is a gift, the people buying it for me want to purchase new and online) Or would it be better to save up an extra $200 and get a well-reviewed 1440 monitor?

a 1440p/144hz monitor that has decent colors cost at least 450usd, and pretty much a 2070S+

you can pretty much get similar experience with 1080p/144hz. the px243 is 170usd. The games do look smoother, if i had to choose between professional colors/60hz or 1080p/144hz, i'd choose 144hz.

I use the ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ and I like it.

1440p/165Hz, curved and a few nice features for gaming.
Also Ultra-Low-Blue-Light function so you can optionally reduce blue light so your eyes don't get tired.

This was my other option in mind, but it is a tad expensive. I might get it though. Maybe if COVID dies down enough that prices are sane again.
