fortnite keeps crashing

Hi, hope everyone is having a good day.. Most of the time i have had my PC i have had lots of crashed (just game crashes not whole pc crashes). Any idea why this is happening? I have literally tried everything. Updating and reinstalling drivers, turning off my overclock. An error message comes up saying 'GPU Crash'... This usually happens after recieving a friend request or a major notification on my pc

this part makes me suspect fortnite and Epic launcher causing it.

You might want to check task manager and end fortnite as it might be running in the background.Due to this you might not be able to open the full version.
