First Post! I'm Trying to Decide between Phantom 630,530 and Corsair 750d

Phantom 530

Also im going to run of iGPU for a while till more $ comes in/broadwell come out.

 

One more thing, I love The style of the 750d But im worried about airflow (closed cover)

Cooling is very important to me. The 630/530 look great also but id rather go with Corsair. (FANBOY4LIFE)

Personally, i would go with the 750D because it's fully made of metal, and the prettiest of the lot you are choosing from.

They are all great cases, If you like the 750D then get it. There will not be airflow issues corsair would not build a case with a problem such as that.

The Cosair case looks a lot more professional with the brushed aluminium front, as for the airflow, there should be plenty as the Corsair 750D takes airflow from the under-side of the front cover. I love the look of the NZXT cases, but the Corsair 750D Wins for me.

The 750D is not fully made of metal. The frame is made from steel the front is plastic with a thin sheet of aluminium glued to it.

However, pick which ever one you think is sexiest

Also for you build, you can get away with a 550ish watt PSU if you're not going sli, and I'd go with dual channel (4gbx2) RAM

If you're gaming you can drop down to an i5, and put the money into something else. The GPU piggy bank maybe?

Thanks! Im going to be doing video editing so that's why i'm leaning for the i7, but hey what do I know? As far as the power supply thanks for the tip, maybe a Corsair RM550/650 to go with my 750d? lol

I'd go 550 if you're running stock, 650 if you're going to overclock.

How heavy is the video editing you'll be doing? You might be able to save some money by going with a Xeon if you're not planning on doing any over clocking. They're essentially a locked i7 with the ability to use ECC RAM.

Thanks For Replying im going to overclock(hence the clc cpu cooler), and Xeon's don't have igpu!

You can pick up a $50 card to tide you over and then sell it

iGPU's aren't that great.
