chrome background image dilemma.

So, with the new google chrome 84 update some thing weird happened. My normal back ground image that was an option from chrome is no longer there and is no longer an option from the menu.

But when i open an incognito mode tab it's there. I'm confused, if it's no longer an option then how is it still there in chrome to be used? and can i get it back?

 

Normally i could google for help, but as this just happened with the update I'm stumped. 

If any one knows any thing or just what words to use for google searches that would be much appreciated. thanks.

So was this an image from Chrome or did you upload it?

it was a pick-able option in chrome, so no uploads.

I'm not sure if it will work but you could go into incognito mode try and save the background as a picture to your pc and then upload that as the background you want.

hadn't thought of that.   had to " inspect " the incognito tab and look for the image file, but it worked.
