What resolution do you play?

What games with what settings are you playing?

What is your average FPS in the games you're having problems with, is it a lot less FPS or is it slightly less?

1080p

for example RDR2 max settings i never get the fps people get on yt with similar specs

it depends on the game so in rdr2 i average 60-70 fps i never reach 80 or 90 like people do with a 2080s.

the thing is, you may not have the EXACT models that the people on YT have so their parts may be superior/inferior even by a little. another thing to consider is bios revision and any sort of tweaks in the bios.

Don't watch videos playing a game.

Watch a reputable source like gamer Nexus or hardware unboxed.

That's within 5%. Perfectly normal.

There are a lot of variables that affect fps. Don't watch videos where people play games.

Either way. It's normal for the most part.

Comparing your fps to those of someone on YouTube is a fools errand. All computers are different, you have different drivers, updates, windows settings, game versions, etc. Even computers that are the same part for part, driver for driver may have differences in performance. A 10fps difference can easily be explained by a overclock, different game settings, a background app running, not to mention the hardware differences between the computers. Comparing your computer to one with similar specs on YouTube and expecting to get the exact same performance isn't the right notion to have. There are way to many variables. I think your performance is on par with your specs and RDR2 max settings at 1080p. I for one do not run it at max settings, if you are running the grass detail slider and water physics slider at full, change them both to half, there is no visible quality difference and you should get the fps boost you are looking for.

I don't know what novabench is, I've never seen it before. You should run a 3DMark Firestrike or Timespy, or use Unigine Heaven/ Superposition.

The 1080ti has more Vram than the 2080 Super so in some benchmarks and tests it will perform better.

Thats a good score for those specs. I'd say your system is performing as it should.

As long as the temps are good and it's not crashing or blue screening you should be fine.
