Right guys and gals,

I need help building a new system. I'm planning to build it next year but at this moment in time I have no idea which way to go building this new pc.

And by that I mean my current PC was built 4 years ago and these days I'm not up to date on whether Intel or AMD are better cpu and I have no Idea what socket cpus are using these days.

My current build has an Intel I5 4690 so it just show how out of date I am.

Current build:

Cpu: Intel I5 4690

GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GEforce GTX 1050Ti

RAM: corsair vengeance 8GB DDR3

motherboard: gigabyte H81M-S2H

I also use my pc for music production so the new build needs to be able to run pro tools.

I'm looking to spend about 700 to 1000 GBP on the build

any recommendations would be appreciated

None (excluding the ram) of these products have released yet.

When does OP want to build it?
