Fingerprint in thermal paste

Hardwaregeek218

Hey guys, i recently touched the thermal paste of my cpu cooler which has pre-applied thermal paste on it and I dont know if it will affect the temperatures or anything, I would like to know if I can let it like this an install it or do I need to replace it. I have some thermal paste on my Amd boxed cooler, can I just fill the gap with the amd thermal paste or is it just fine ?D3509265-6EB9-43E2-B977-97F183568457.thumb.jpeg.bd88980a5f1f47d37fac7149f404ce5f.jpeg

It's fine like this, don't worry about it.

Once you tighten down the cooler (in a cross pattern), it will flatten out the paste and thus this indent will not make a difference.

This may actually be beneficial if you log in into your PC with a fingerprint, this way the PC will remember it and you no longer have to touch the sensor. /s

Don't worry, you'll be fine as mentioned above.
