We've all seen Anthony do his magic and get craziest and coolest things working. For me, the question is where do I learn this stuff? As a Computer Engineering student, I'm taught the basics and am aware that, that is in no way enough for a career of any sorts.
I see people online putting together craziest things and am clueless how do I get to such Skill level. I hope to get some advice from the tech community here as to what technical (or non-technical) skill do I need to learn, and how or where would I learn that.

ps: Got inspired to post this while watching Mac? PC? You don’t have to choose.. and realizing how I know nothing .

for me, Wikipedia is where I learn the basics of a topic. If I want to know more, the reference section of a page has links, and a quick search can bring results.

If you don't know a topic, search for it. You'll understand it better.

Experiment, a lot. You won't know what a button does until you press it.

Know your basics, and double check that understanding. It may sound dumb, but if you don't understand how a GPU processes something, or you don't understand a how a PSU operates etc. you will learn stuff wrong or not understand it.

Understand a topic, don't memorize it. Anthony levels of intellect come from a deep understanding.

No question is stupid or obvious, so ask here or wherever else if you don't understand. We don't bite. and understand that you will always have something new to learn

(also, welcome to the forums :))

Post grad engineering?  Engineering degrees used to be a post grad thing. An engineering student was a student on an engineering track “pre-engineering” like pre-med

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Practice.

If you want to be an expert in something, in anything, you have to practice.

I know that doesn't help, but with technical skills all of the reading in the world only goes so far. Hands on experience is the only way you really learn how things work.

Heyy, I understand the need for practice but I am looking for is actual path or direction to begin my learning. Thanks for the advice though!

Thanks a lot. I didn't actually expect answers here but your advice really helps. I hope I can follow this through! Thanks a lot for sharing!
