Bert192

Hey, im building 1st build at the moment so far i have :

-2560x1080 monitor

-gamemax kage case
-Ryzen 5 3600
-Tomahawk b450 max
-Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB)DDR4 3200 MHz
-wd 500gb m.2 ssd
-baracuda 2tb hd

Looking at running games like destiny 2 / arc at high graphics with reasonable fps

Was thinking of getting msi rx 5600xt but wondering now if thats best choice.

Also is it worth upgrading the stock cpu cooler  (wrath stealth)

depends on your budget.

for £150 I'd get a 1650 super

for £200 I'd get a 1660 super

for £250 i'd get a 5600xt

for £300 i;d get a 5700-5700xt

for more, i'd get a 2070 super

Haven't heard anything like that about these cards. They are considered pretty good quality so thats probably just a one off.

Yeah the very first batch(es) of the 5600XT Red Dragon had a vBIOS issue, particularly related to the default fan curve. It's since been fixed.

When we are doing gaming of  1080P even up to 144hz monitors, here the  5600XT is the better buy. When you  pair it  with a 3600 you will have a serious 1080P gaming system. You can always use the extra bucks you saved here for other better upgrades in your system which will prominently impact your overall gaming performance.
