Help me choose what to upgrade

Budget (including currency): 1000‎€-1500‎€ ($1100-$1700)

Country: Spain

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly text editors or IDEs. Recent games and those coming out in the coming years

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I had this configuration for the last 4 or 5 years, it served me well but now is getting a bit old and cant keep up with some of the recent games, even some not so recent games at 4k struggle a bit.

I want to upgrade so I can enjoy playing some of the new to come games, like Death Stranding or Cyberpunk 2077 (if it ever comes out...)

I was thinking on getting a 2060 or 2070 but probably will need a new cpu as well, I don't mind chaning to AMD like a ryzen or something, but I have no idea. I don't care about aestethics, I know that rgb makes your computer faster but it isn't necesary to me.

*you dont need to change the case if you want to but this has better airflow

here is what you could do, or you could wait for zen 3 since the 3080 isnt actually available yet.

or, if you are mainly gaming then you could go with a 10600k and z490 combo.
