Looking for a new PC 550$ Budget

shyls

Hey guys,

So I'm looking for better specs, but I don't want to buy a new PC.
Every game I play, I have to lower the graphics of the game a lot so I could play it at a playable fps.
I'm most likely going to get a RX 580 or a  GTX 1060, but i need to help to find a better CPU so I don't get bottlenecked and anything helpful on what to get would be appreciated.

My Specs:
CPU: AMD A8-6500
GPU: GTX 750 Ti
RAM: 8 GB DUAL CHANNEL
MOBO: ASUS M11BB

your PSU doesnt send information to the PC, you will need to open it. unless its a prebuilt then you can google what parts it has.

You need an entirely new system. That power supply is shit and likely to catch fire

It's a prebuilt tower with an A8 APU. At best it'll burn down the carpet, at worst it will burn down the house

Buying from Germany is probably the best value in mainland Europe. Here's my suggestion:

Will probably have to buy the RX570 used, so also keep an eye out for a good price on an RX580. Look for the 8GB models of both if possible.

Case isn't ideal, but it'll do.

You'll need to add more storage later, but a 240GB is plenty for your OS and a couple of games, then you can add a 1-2TB harddrive later.

Hope this helps :)

basically, you want to look for the cheapest between ryzen 3100, 3300, 2600 and 1600AF

the cheapest b450 motherboard that has a vrm heatsink.

the cheapest 2x8gb ram kit that is 3000 or 3200 C16

cheapest ssd

cheapest between 1650 super, 5500xt, rx570, rx580,

cheapest case with a mesh front

and a good psu, check the tier list in my signature and get a B+

Not sure what prices are like there, but for $550 in the U.S.:

Ryzen 3300X if you can get it, 3600 if not.

B450 Mobo

8-16GB DDR4 3200Mhz CL16 (8GB only if you needed to cut some cost, kit of two sticks in either case)

1650 super or RX 5500XT

250GB SATA SSD as a boot drive and *very* minimal game storage. Try to add a 1TB HDD if you can afford it. If not, you should be eyeing this a future purchase as soon as possible.

550W power supply bronze if you can get it without paying an arm and leg (prices are insane right now)

Literally the cheapest hunk of metal or plastic that qualifies as a "case".

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X · Cooler: Artic Liquid Freezer II 280 · Motherboard: MSI MEG X570 Unify · RAM: G.skill Ripjaws V 2x16GB 3600MHz CL16 (2Rx8) · Graphics Card: ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Ti TUF Gaming · Boot Drive: 500GB WD Black SN750 M.2 NVMe SSD · Game Drive: 2TB Crucial MX500 SATA SSD · PSU: Corsair White RM850x 850W 80+ Gold · Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow · Monitor: MSI Optix MAG342CQR 34” UWQHD 3440x1440 144Hz · Keyboard: Corsair K100 RGB Optical-Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (OPX Switch) · Mouse: Corsair Ironclaw RGB Wireless Gaming Mouse
