Help sourcing an Intel i5 9600K box

Got a bit of a weird request. Could anyone help me get hold of an empty box for the i5 9600K in the UK? No CPU or anything like that inside, just the box.

Your best bet is probably Reddit. But if someone keeps their box, it's probably for a reason and they won't sell it. It also doesn't make a whole lot of sense to buy it.

Aye, its a bit of a strange request admittedly. I thought about asking a PC shop that builds systems so might do that or just make do without one. Thanks anyway.

I would try and see if any of your friends may have the box left from an upgrade and could let you have it, you could also try some other local app/web based shopping platforms such as Letgo, Craigslist, Nextdoor, etc and find if anyone nearby has the box and would be willing to sell/give it to you.

Not really sure if you will be able to find the box there since those stores usually use OEM CPUs or ones that are sold in non-retail packaging, although it's worth a try.

Easy, just order a suspiciously cheap i5-9600k on wish.com and you'll just get a box with a pebble inside. 😏

I have one but I'm located in the US though.  The only thing I don't have the is the plastic container that holds the CPU since I used it when I sold my old CPU.  The box even has both the manual and even the sticker for the i5 9600k.
