1400€ editing pc build

Budget (including currency): about 1400€ - 1500€ is my absolute max

Country: Portugal  - stores: PCDIGA and GLOBALDATA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: video and audio editing and gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): It is a fresh build, , there are no old parts to be reused. The objective of this build is mainly focused on editing, however I do not want to compromise to much on the gaming side of the build.

Hello there;

I am going to build a editing/gaming pc for a friend, and I wanted to make sure I do not make any mistakes. These are the parts I have in mind: https://pt.pcpartpicker.com/list/gKrGCL.

Do you have any recomendations?

Thanks for the help!

Get a better case. something like a meshify c would be good. Dont get a aio- an air cooler would be better here- a nh-d15 or dark rock pro 4 would be fine. Try and see if you can find a 5700xt as for less you get better performance or f budget allows go up to a 2070 super as they can be had for around 450-500.

I forgot to mention, the case is not the 100r but the 110r, that comes with 4 aRGB fans. The cooler is more of an aesthetic choice, and the nh-d15 is way more expensive here. I cant go for an 2070 super as it is way too expensive (here they start for 560€)... Is the rx5700xt (400 - 500€) better than the 2060 super (400-550€)? I thought it was the other way around.

Get the 5700xt, its better than the 2060 super and is better value because of that.
