Any 500W+ PSU Compatible With My PC?

consentwastaken

Hello! I've recently gotten a pretty good deal for a PC I got recently, it's prebuilt but I'm going to change the hardware inside of it. I currently have a 350W PSU and I'm going to upgrade my current GPU (GTX 1050) to a GTX 1650S. My PC is called an "Asus 7360KG2". The current PSU I have is an "HBA008-ZA4G" By AcBel.

If any of you can find a PSU compatible with this PC and is 500W or above (And not super expensive) that'll be bomb.

There isn't really "compatibility' in PSUs. As long as your wattage is enough it more or less should work. something like a Corsair CX will probably be good.

Literally any PSU is compatible with any PC as long as it uses the standard ATX form factor. You can pick up a decent PSU for like $60 really anything works.

Saying “anything works” is very misleading and wrong. Yes you are correct about the form factor but just throwing in any psu especially at the 60 dollar price point is not a good recommendation. @consentwastaken like @Statik the Corsair cx series is very nice for a build like yours or I’d recommend looking into Corsair txm, a coolermaster mwe gold, or a seasonic focus gx. Can’t go wrong with any of those.

HP?  Dell?  Lenovo?

All three of these pre-builds have used PSUs that aren't ATX.

So OP's question is legit.

Fortunately, OP's Asus Essentio uses standard ATX parts.

That's a solid choice. Even a CX450 will do actually, considering you're running a 1650S.

I'd also check for pricing on the TX550M, as it's a little nicer of a unit that's also often discounted close to the $70 mark, though considering everything that's going on now, you'll probably be hard-pressed to find one at that price point. Either way, the CX is also a very good pick.
