Monitoring CPU temps.

So i upgraded to ryzen 5 3600 last summer, and swapped to a Asrock B450m Pro4 motherboard. from then on i could no longer see my cpu temps?

i used msi afterburner to monitor my pc and after the upgrade i noticed the cpu option missing from the msi onscreen,

i also noticed it doesnt show cpu temps in the motherboard bios.

ive recently installed amd ryzen master to overclock and noticed that it does show my cpu temp, im not sure if its my cpu or motherboard temp.

is there a reason my bios and msi doesnt show it?

There are 3rd part programs such as CPUZ that do it too.  They might not be working either though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
