multiple infrared sensors

hey guys,

I was planning on using multiple 3d scanners in the same room at the same time. as these are using infrared sensors I was wondering if they would mess each other up, by emitting light that would be picked up by the wrong infrared sensor.

thanks in advance,

Tom

Won't know until you try. Since IR is just light, what could happen is having multiple IR cameras emitting their own light sources, could cause overexposure for the other cameras and keep them from getting accurate reads.

I see this on set when I have my radio (also, just light at a different wavelength) triggers too close to my lights. Basically the signal is so strong that it over saturates the receiver and it doesn't see anything.
